You receive anonymized or structured proposals so the decision is yours.

How do you choose which suppliers receive my RFQ?

Accepted Answer

We match your project by category, species, capacity, region, budget tier and delivery complexity. Only suppliers with relevant aquaculture experience — RAS, shrimp farms, hatcheries, feeding, water treatment, cages or processing — are invited. You can request a shortlist of one to three qualified bidders.

Do suppliers pay to be recommended?

No supplier can buy placement. Suppliers participate in our network and are compensated only when a project they quoted is successfully contracted through FishMatch Group. This keeps our recommendations aligned with your project, not with marketing spend.

Will my project details be shared publicly or with all suppliers?

Accepted Answer

Never publicly. Your request is handled as a private sourcing brief. Identifying details are shared only with suppliers after you approve the shortlist, and we can keep buyer identity confidential until you choose to reveal it.

We support commercial aquaculture infrastructure and procurement: fish farms, shrimp farms, RAS systems, sea cages, hatcheries, feed plants, processing facilities, water treatment, oxygenation, feeding systems, monitoring and turnkey EPC projects. No. We work with early-stage budgets, feasibility outlines and detailed specifications alike. Our team helps you structure the RFQ, define scope and fill gaps before inviting suppliers. The more detail you provide, the tighter the proposals.

We source globally. Active corridors include Norway, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico and the United States. Multi-region and government projects are welcome.

Does FishMatch Group provide financing directly?

No. We are not a lender. We introduce eligible projects to specialist aquaculture financing partners and help prepare the project summary, budget and documentation that those partners require.

What financing options are available?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the project and jurisdiction, options include equipment leasing, working capital facilities, project finance, export credit, green and ESG-linked finance, and structured debt for expansion or greenfield builds.

Who is eligible for aquaculture project financing?

Accepted Answer

Eligible applicants typically include established aquaculture companies, EPC contractors, project owners with credible business plans, government-backed developments and expansion projects with clear offtake or revenue projections. Terms depend on the financing partner, jurisdiction and collateral.

How does the financing introduction process work?

After you submit a project brief, our team prepares a financing-ready summary. If the project fits a partner's criteria, we make one qualified introduction. The partner then conducts their own due diligence, credit review and structuring. FishMatch Group does not guarantee approval or terms.

Question 12

Are there fees for buyers?

Accepted Answer

Submitting a sourcing request or financing introduction request costs the buyer nothing. FishMatch Group earns a success fee from the winning supplier when a procurement contract is signed, and may receive referral fees from financing partners on closed transactions.
