Use this template as the skeleton for any equipment or turnkey RFQ. Every section maps 1:1 to what verified aquaculture suppliers need to quote fixed prices without follow-up rounds.
Section 1 — Project header
Buyer entity, country, project name, RFQ reference number, issue date, response deadline, currency, incoterm (EXW / FOB / CIF / DAP), preferred delivery port.
Section 2 — Project overview
Species, target annual production (t/year), system type, water source, site status (greenfield vs retrofit), regulatory environment (permits obtained / pending).
Section 3 — Technical scope
Numbered list of every item required: tanks, filtration, oxygenation, biofilters, degassers, UV, ozone, feeding, monitoring, controls, spare parts, freight, installation supervision, commissioning, training.
Section 4 — Commercial terms
Payment schedule (30/60/10 or LC at sight), warranty (12/24 months), performance guarantees, penalty clauses, currency risk allocation.
Section 5 — Attachments
Site plan, water analysis, environmental permits (if issued), preferred brands (if any). Silence on preferred brands is fine — suppliers will offer their best fit.
