Cấu hình này cần khoảng 5,1 ha, 1.400 t thức ăn mỗi năm và 43 kW công suất sục khí. Đây là khoảng giá lập kế hoạch bằng VND; báo giá kỹ thuật sẽ có sau.

Với nhiệt độ nước thường ở mức 25–32 °C, các mô hình đã được kiểm chứng thương mại là ao thâm canh (lót bạt), ao siêu thâm canh / raceway, biofloc, lồng bè / lồng biển.
