How FishMatch sourcing works

FishMatch Group is a managed aquaculture sourcing service — not an open buyer-to-supplier marketplace. A fish farm, shrimp farm, RAS operator, project developer or investor is never automatically connected to a supplier. Technology structures the project and researches the field; people validate technical fit and approve all supplier outreach, which our team then carries out for you.

The managed outreach chain

All supplier outreach follows this order. No step is skipped, and nothing on the website can jump ahead of it.

    A fish farm, shrimp farm, RAS operator, project developer or investor submits a project request — never a direct message to a supplier.

    The request reaches FishMatch Group only. Buyer identity, site details and commercial data stay private to the FishMatch team.

    Species, country, system type, production target, budget band, timeline and site constraints are structured into one comparable brief.

    Tools narrow the field by capability, capacity and region. Research produces candidates — it never contacts anyone by itself.

    A person reviews the brief and the candidate list, flags missing information and removes candidates that do not belong in the project.

    Technical fit validation

    Each remaining candidate is validated against the actual scope: flow, oxygen duty, filtration, materials, redundancy, service reach and references.

    The FishMatch team / authorized approval

    Only the FishMatch team or an explicitly authorized team member may approve supplier outreach, with a written fit summary on record.

    Managed outreach and organised responses

    The FishMatch team contacts the approved suppliers on the buyer's behalf, collects their responses and presents them to the buyer, organised, through FishMatch. Nothing on the website triggers outreach automatically, and there is no direct buyer-to-supplier messaging.

Supplier and manufacturer listings are provided for research, transparency and discovery only. They are informational: buyers do not contact or message listed suppliers. Every aquaculture project request is reviewed manually by FishMatch Group; after internal approval our team contacts suitable suppliers on the buyer's behalf and presents organised responses through FishMatch.

No. No page, form, calculator, directory profile or AI agent can trigger supplier outreach. All supplier outreach is approved by the FishMatch project team or an explicitly authorized team member and coordinated manually.

It reaches FishMatch Group only. The team structures the brief — species, country, system, production target, budget band, timeline, site constraints — then researches candidate suppliers with technology support, reviews them by hand and validates technical fit before anything is approved.

Only what the project requires. Our team contacts suppliers on your behalf; buyer identity, site details and commercial data stay inside FishMatch and are shared with a supplier only to the extent the approved outreach requires.

It is a research signal only — a way to narrow candidates by species, capacity, system type and region. A score never triggers supplier outreach and never implies FishMatch has endorsed a supplier for your project.

An AI agent can read public information and help submit a structured project request. It cannot obtain supplier identities or contact details, and it cannot approve or trigger supplier outreach — only the FishMatch team does that, after human review.
