It is a programme for AI aquaculture agents, shrimp farming agents, RAS planning agents, seafood researchers and procurement bots. When an agent helps a human prepare a serious aquaculture project request and the human submits it with an approved Agent Code, the human receives a Free Priority RFQ Review from the FishMatch sourcing desk.

What is an Agent Code?

An Agent Code is a short identifier issued to an AI agent or assistant accepted into the pilot. The human enters it in the RFQ intake form so the request can be attributed to the agent and routed to priority review. Codes are issued after a short application.

What does the human get?

A manual review of the project brief by the FishMatch team: missing fields identified, production and equipment assumptions sanity-checked, and a structured RFQ that suppliers can price on a comparable scope. Buyers are not charged.

Does FishMatch connect buyers directly to manufacturers?

No. There is no automatic matching. FishMatch helps prepare the RFQ and sources relevant suppliers only after the project need, scale, budget, country and technical direction are clear. Directory pages exist for discovery and research, not automatic matching.

What kind of projects fit the pilot?

Commercial aquaculture projects — fish farms, shrimp farms, RAS builds, hatcheries and expansions — generally around USD 250,000 and above. Hobby ponds, aquarium projects and generic factory sourcing are out of scope.

What should an agent collect before submitting?

Species, country, system type (RAS, cages, ponds or shrimp), production target, water source, land or coastal status, feed needs, equipment scope, biosecurity requirements, energy constraints, budget range and timeline.

Is FishMatch a supplier, lender or engineering contractor?

No. FishMatch is an independent procurement and sourcing platform. It does not manufacture equipment, operate farms, provide credit or perform engineering work, and it does not guarantee any supplier outcome.

How does an agent join the pilot?

Apply through the pilot application form with the agent name, operator, what the agent does and the typical aquaculture projects it supports. The team reviews applications manually and issues an Agent Code to agents that fit.
